afternoon excitement

Clint's little brother Mike & his wife Leanne are moving down here after Mike graduates from the Y in April! We're all super excited & I've been helping Leanne look for a home. My Mom is a Realtor so we've viewed a couple of houses to see how they look. Last night we went to view a home & my Mom got a phone call that she needed to show a house in Gold Canyon that she has listed.

Because of timing it was easiest just to have us come along. We get to this house & she meets the person interested & when this lady started to talk I knew that I knew here somehow. I turned to Clint after they walked away & said I know her, he said I know! He said I think she is from TV but I can't place which show. Then I realized it was Leah, Ashley Paige's mom. "Ashley Paige Bikini or Bus"t was a show that was on this past summer. I wasn't positive it was her but 99% sure lol! Of course you can't just ask someone that & my mom had no clue who she was. So they looked at that house & then went & saw my Uncles who's is up for sale about a mile away. As they were wrapping things up it came up that she has moved from Florida but lived in California for a while & then to Arizona.

Then she said she moved to CA to help her daughter who made bikinis & I couldn't hold it back any longer,& I was like, "are you Ashley Paige's Mom"?!! She was like, "why yes honey I am"! We talked for a bit about the show & how Ashley's line is going. I told her how much I loved the show & I watched mainly because of her! It is the complete truth, Clint & I were flipping the channels one day last summer & saw her mom on & she was so funny so we ended up watching it regularly. She thought that was so sweet lol! It was really cool meeting someone "famous" haha! She is in the medical field & works at a hospital close to my house & she said all the time patients & other staff members think they are seeing things when they see her on TV & she said it's always funny to see their reaction when she says, "that is me"!

Anyway, good times! It was quite the fun evening! Here is a clip from the show. It just shows you her southern hospitality & how if anyone else was doing this it wouldn't fly but who could say no to her?!
