L-O-V-E

So it's Valentines day! The day of love... here are some things I Love (in no particular order)!

I LOVE being an auntie. This shouldn't come as a surprise, but having a 6 week old nephew makes it so real, I just love to hold & snuggle him, see how excited the other 2 are to see him & & I love to see him smile! It really is priceless.

I LOVE working with the young women at church. Teenage girls are a lot more put together than they often get credit for. I'm amazed at the strength of these girls I get to spend time with each week.

I LOVE my tiny little house. We won't be here forever, but I really do love where we live. We are crammed in every nook & cranny it seems & I'm often wondering what in the world we were thinking when we said yes to this house, but we are happier than ever!!

I LOVE my friends. Few as they are, I think I've got the world's best. They make me happy & teach me so much about kindness & generosity.

I LOVE my sisters & sister-in-laws. I should really just call them my sisters too. They are all great. It took me a very long time to realize that it's ok that we all come from different walks of life & each have our own unique set of challenges & strengths. I've been working really hard at accepting them as they are & trying to learn more about them & what makes them great. It's been an eye opening experience & I'm grateful them each & in their own little ways they've touched my life & made me want to be better at all kinds of things & have given me the faith to know I can change.

I LOVE creating. I am humbled everyday that God chose me to give the gift of creativity to. I am so thankful that as I work on various projects that the ideas are never endless & he allows my hands to function & create the visions in my head. I am grateful for the happiness & contentment it allows me to feel.

I LOVE technology. I really do. I may not be the best at utilizing it, but it really is amazing to me. I remember the first computer we got when I was a child was huge. It took up most of our kitchen table!! Now we can get the internet on our phones... it's crazy to me! I especially love the internet because I am able to learn so much from the things I read & study. And Tevo, I don't really even need to say much about it... it's the best!

I secretly (or maybe not so) LOVE not having to go to work everyday! I seriously love kicking back in my lounge wear & doing whatever fancies me at the moment! Getting dressed up everyday is way over-rated if you ask me!!

I LOVE that Easter candy is finally in the stores & spotted my first bags of Brachs jelly beans & Cadbury mini eggs tonight it made me smile! I was good & didn't buy either of them, but I can't wait to get them each, they are my favorite treats to have!

I LOVE seeing the talents of others. Whether it's from a photography blog, etsy, a great movie, a display at the store, a great magazine article... all over I see others talents & I again remember how wonderful the Lord is to give us such special gifts, each different but wonderful in their own way.

I LOVE Clint. He's the best, I could stop there. But really, I could go on forever. I love him so much & I am thankful for all that he does for me, puts up with & for all the encouragement he gives me!

I LOVE OPI nail polish. It is worth every single cent! Nothing else compares.

I LOVE ballet flats. They make me feel sassy & fun!

I LOVE planning out meals for Clint & I, finding the best deals for grocery's & cooking delicious food. I feel a lot of satisfaction in caring for our little family in this way.

I LOVE my family. I LOVE Clint's family. I LOVE or extended families. I LOVE that Clint & I are a family, little as we are! I am enjoying the process of getting to know them all... really getting to know them. I imagine eternity would be awfully lonely place if we didn't already know our family members. I love that we are all different, I love that we have similarities, I love that some of us are tall, some short, some thin, some more round, some feisty, some calm, it really makes my world a better place having each of these people in my life.

I LOVE staying up late... it's typical for us to be up past 1am most days. I find that I get a lot accomplished late at night, much more than in the morning. I don't love the mornings!

Speaking of getting stuff done, I must go! New beginnings is on Tuesday evening & I've got a lot of stuff to finish up before the big event!
