change is inevitable

That is the reality of life & so as I learn to adapt & welcome change, I hope I can be open minded, giving every person a fair shot at proving to me that they can bring change for the positive.

I wanted to post some of my favorite images from yesterday's presidential inauguration as part of my history, because it is something I witnessed & something I am interested in. I am anxious to see how our country will change in the next 4 years. Yesterday was the start of that change.

Taking Oath

After President Obama took oath

This is my favorite photo from yesterday, they were on their way to the helicopter to say a final goodbye. It's the closing of one door & the opening of another. I loved first lady Laura Bush, I look forward to learning more about first lady Michelle Obama.

  1. It was history in the making but I can't really say I am all that thrilled to be seeing the changes. No offense! I just don't think it is going to be good considering one of the first things he did in office is worry about the abortion situation in america. I personally don't think that is the most important agenda to be addressing so quickly, but that is my opinion. Who knows, hopefully I will be surprised but so far not really impressed.
