MIA

So, I haven 't been very good at this whole blogging thing lately. Things have been so hectic. Here is a quick update.

I started Nanny-ing for a family with 2 children, a 4 year old & an 18 month old. I LOVE it! I never in a million years would have ever thought I'd like something like this, but I totally do. I'm with a great family & really enjoy all the fun things the kids do & say! They keep me laughing!

About the same time I was also asked to be our Camp Director this June for a week. I am so excited, but it did take me a good couple of weeks to wrap my brain around it all. I feel like I'm in a pretty good place with it now & I can't wait to go to camp with the awesome young women in our ward. I know I will learn so much from them & look forward to the time we'll get to spend up in the mountains with no electronics, school activities or boys to distract us hahah!

And the last bit of good news.... my baby sister Chelsea is engaged!! We are beyond thrilled for her to have met such an awesome man & look forward to welcoming Joshua into our family in 10 short weeks! Yes! You read that right. She set a June 5th wedding date!! That's right, a week & a half before I go to girls camp!!!!!

We are in wedding over-drive but feel pretty good because we knocked out her bridal party attire & her wedding gown in one long day of shopping. Her dress in absolutely stunning & I gotta say I'm a bit jealous it's so cool! lol! 2 biggies out of the way! Invitations are almost finalized & the cake is being ordered this week too! Flowers is a done deal, along with the venue, photographer & caterer. All planned in a little over a week! It kinda rocked that I've been in the wedding industry for a million years because I already had a lot of contacts so we were able to make decisions quickly, knowing we made the best ones! The grooms family is super excited for this wedding, as it's their first child to be married so it's been fun having their input thrown in the mix. It should be such a great event in their lives! 

So much going on! I'm also still serving as 1st counselor in young women's & Clint is the membership clerk. So if I look a little crazy in the eyes... I am! My brain goes constantly, so much so I am having a terrible time sleeping, which is when I need sleep the most! I feel like the inside of my head is a pinball machine with things bouncing around all over all day & all night long! I am one of the most detail oriented people I know & so I literally can't stop. I have to have everything just the way I see it in my head or it simply isn't good enough, so wish me luck over the next 12 weeks! Ha! I 'll need it I'm sure!
